Mrs. Liz Ochoa - Music instructor / Owner
Ms. Liz Ochoa, founder and owner of Liz Music Academy, teaches private music lessons in Highlands County. With over 12 years of professional experience, she is committed to spreading the love of music and has developed curricula for piano, violin, bass, ukulele, guitar, and voice.
As a passionate educator, Ms. Ochoa provides a personalized, well-rounded musical education for her students. Her lessons cater to each child's unique interests, skills, and personality. She has created a positive and supportive learning environment for her music students. In addition to standard lessons, Ms. Ochoa also provides “adaptive music lessons” for children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder).
Mr. Sebastian Corriero - Music instructor
Mr. Sebastian has years of professional experience, which enables him to bring his expertise to the classroom. He is a dedicated and passionate music teacher who focuses on a diverse range of musical instruments. His classes center around the following: piano, guitar, ukulele, and voice. Mr. Sebastian is also skilled in teaching music fundamentals, with a strong knowledge of music theory. He´s very patient and kind with his students, and he always puts the best interests of his students first. This makes his classroom a great and safe environment for learning.
Mrs. Kimberly Houser - Music instructor
Ms. Kim is an experienced piano teacher with many years of teaching experience. She is very patient and wonderful with children, creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. Her passion for music and teaching shines through in every lesson, inspiring her students to grow and develop their musical talents with confidence and joy.
Her teaching approach combines strong technical foundations with creativity and fun, helping students not only play beautifully but also truly understand and feel the music. She believes that every child has unique potential and takes pride in guiding each student at their own pace, celebrating their progress every step of the way.
Mr. Eddy Lorenzo - Music instructor
Mr. Eddy is a professional musician with more than 30 years of experience in education. He has a lot of experience conducting bands and orchestras. As an experienced instrument teacher, he can teach a wide variety of instruments, including both string and wind instruments, no matter your interests. This experience makes him a great teacher who can not only give you an excellent education in music but also provide a thorough grounding in music theory, a wide range of instruments, from strings to wind instruments, providing his students with a great educational experience.
Mrs. Tania Hernandez - Music Instructor
Ms. Tania is a passionate and dedicated bilingual music teacher with extensive experience working with students of all ages. She teaches voice, piano, guitar and cello, offering dynamic and engaging lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs.
Ms. Tania has a special gift for working with children, creating a warm and encouraging environment where young learners feel confident and inspired to grow. Her patient and supportive approach helps students build strong musical foundations while developing creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.

Ms. Amalia is an essential member of our team, always making sure that everything at the academy runs smoothly and efficiently. She is highly organized, dependable, and caring, ensuring that both students and teachers have the support they need every day. Her friendly attitude and dedication make everyone feel welcome from the moment they walk in. Beyond her excellent organizational skills, she brings warmth and positivity to every interaction. She helps maintain a joyful atmosphere where learning and creativity can flourish, playing a key role in keeping our academy a happy and well-balanced place for all.

DO NOT WORRY, WE GOT YOU COVERED !!!
At Liz Music Academy, we're here to help all students, whether they have their own instruments or not. If a student doesn't own an instrument, but is interested in learning, they are welcome to use our in-store instruments free of charge (exceptions may apply). However, we do encourage students to have their own so they can practice on their own time at home. Whether you are looking for something that fits your personal style or simply seeking to practice outside of the studio environment, we encourage you to invest in a personal instrument. This would not only allow you to practice at home and at school, but it would also help you maintain consistency.
