Our instructors are all experienced and accomplished musicians (Bachelor Degree in Music) who are passionate about teaching music. They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their students and work closely with each individual to help them achieve their goals.

We offer a variety of instruments, to study in private lessons. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians.

About our music instructors
Mrs. Liz Ochoa
Ms. Liz Ochoa is the founder and owner of Liz Music Academy, and teaches private music lessons in Highlands County. She holds a Bachelor of Music, and is committed to spreading the love of music, and has developed curricula for piano, violin, bass, ukulele, guitar, and voice.
She also offers "adaptive music lessons" for children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder).
Mr. Luis Fernandez
Mr. Luis is a valued member of our team here at Liz Music Academy, he holds a Bachelor of Music. His expertise and teaching experience are a true asset to our Academy.
As an instructor here, Mr. Luis teaches piano, guitar, ukulele, and voice, and he has a strong commitment to his students.
He takes great pride in developing the musical potential in each and every student.

At Liz Music Academy, we're here to help all students, whether they have their own instruments or not. If a student doesn't own an instrument, but is interested in learning, they are welcome to use our in-store instruments free of charge (exceptions may apply). However, we do encourage students to have their own so they can practice on their own time at home. Whether you are looking for something that fits your personal style or simply seeking to practice outside of the studio environment, we encourage you to invest in a personal instrument. This would not only allow you to practice at home and at school, but it would also help you maintain consistency.
