Mrs. Liz Ochoa - Music instructor / Owner
Ms. Liz Ochoa, founder and owner of Liz Music Academy, teaches private music lessons in Highlands County. With over 12 years of professional experience, she is committed to spreading the love of music and has developed curricula for piano, violin, bass, ukulele, guitar, and voice.
As a passionate educator, Ms. Ochoa provides a personalized, well-rounded musical education for her students. Her lessons cater to each child's unique interests, skills, and personality. She has created a positive and supportive learning environment for her music students. In addition to standard lessons, Ms. Ochoa also provides “adaptive music lessons” for children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder).
Mr. Sebastian Corriero - Music instructor
Mr. Sebastian has years of professional experience, which enables him to bring his expertise to the classroom. He is a dedicated and passionate music teacher who focuses on a diverse range of musical instruments. His classes center around the following: piano, guitar, ukulele, and voice. Mr. Sebastian is also skilled in teaching music fundamentals, with a strong knowledge of music theory. He´s very patient and kind with his students, and he always puts the best interests of his students first. This makes his classroom a great and safe environment for learning.
Mr. Eddy Lorenzo - Music instructor
Mr. Eddy is a professional musician with more than 30 years of experience in education. He has a lot of experience conducting bands and orchestras. As an experienced instrument teacher, he can teach a wide variety of instruments, including both string and wind instruments, no matter your interests. This experience makes him a great teacher who can not only give you an excellent education in music but also provide a thorough grounding in music theory, a wide range of instruments, from strings to wind instruments, providing his students with a great educational experience.

At Liz Music Academy, we're here to help all students, whether they have their own instruments or not. If a student doesn't own an instrument, but is interested in learning, they are welcome to use our in-store instruments free of charge (exceptions may apply). However, we do encourage students to have their own so they can practice on their own time at home. Whether you are looking for something that fits your personal style or simply seeking to practice outside of the studio environment, we encourage you to invest in a personal instrument. This would not only allow you to practice at home and at school, but it would also help you maintain consistency.
